I knew Rampage would not get off so easy with his insane ride through Orange County. It is bizarre to me all of the events that happened that night and everything that has followed. Now Rampage has declared he has turned to faith in God now and that his head is on straight. But that still does not mean he is exempt from all of his past mistakes.
Our mistakes come back to haunt us at times whether we pay for them outwardly for society or through the law or whether we pay emotionally for the rest of our life. In this case Rampage is most likely paying for them in both degrees.
How he got off from that madness and was able to come back and fight so quickly is beyond me. Don't get me wrong I am a fan of Rampage, especially, against Rashad Evans coming up. But athletes and those in public eye are the most targeted group of people in the world and I knew that eventually there would be lawsuits of his "Ride of Rampage". Come on who gets away with driving a massive truck with your face postered all over it driving without any regard for anyone through a city banging up cars, risking death to others (in this case an unborn child), and bottley harm to yourself?
Rampage obviously, here is the clip from TMZ...
Here’s the skinny from TMZ.com:
“Holli Griggs filed a lawsuit against Rampage in Orange County, California — claiming he repeatedly rammed into her car ’so he could escape and flee the scene (hit and run).’ Griggs says ‘the impact of her abdomen with the steering wheel caused her amniotic fluid membranes (bag of waters) to rupture, ultimately resulting in the stillbirth of her baby.’”
